Urban Fiction is a locative media artwork which utilizes networked, location-aware and motion sensing mobile phones to produce an alternative, sculpted fabric which overlays the urban landscape. Navigating through the urbanscape, participants re-sculpt the environs, weaving an alternative geography. The work explores the constitution of territories and their break lines and how we belong to and hybridize these charged terrains.
